Daantjie came alive with colourful lights when musicians gathered to perform on Sunday night. KaRuby was the place to be for anyone who has an ear for good music.
The theme for the night was “Team Bongi”, the audience was encouraged to keep voting for Mpumalanga’s pride who has made it to the Idols SA Top seven. “Bongiwe Silinda is an extremely talented singer, she knows her story, but most importantly, she is our girl.
We owe it to ourselves as fellow musicians and Lowvelders to keep voting for her so that she can bring the title home,” said Musongaka Ngwenya, organiser of the session.
The music was headlined by Nomandla Mfecane of the renowned gospel group, Joyous Celebration. “We do this twice a month, I really encourage all the musicians from around the province to come out so that we can get to know one another while we do what we love and what we do best.
Music is universal, let’s support one another to ensure growth within the province,” he added.
