AmaZayoni get new sponsor

Mpumalanga Black Aces have a new Japanese sponsor in the form of International Sports Promotion Society founded by Dr. Haruhisa Handa.

Handa, accompanied by the Aces directors Mario and George Morfou as well as club coach Clive Barker were on hand at Emoyeni Conference Centre in Parktown, Johannesburg, to announce the deal. However, the financial details were not announced.

ISPS joins Umbro, Ermelo Toyota and Tsogo Sun as AmaZayoni’s primary sponsors.

Dr Handa explains: “I founded ISPS in 2006 with the intention of supporting charitable causes throughout the sporting world and, when I decided to move into the world of football in Africa, Black Aces stood out immediately,” he said.

“There is an undeniable power that football has in Africa to speak to the masses and make real changes. The work that Aces does with their community-based work is something we will be proud to support with our mutual association moving forward.”

Aces co-chairman George Morfou expressed his delight at joining forces with ISPS.

“We would like to thank Dr Handa and his ISPS organisation for their commitment toward Aces and can assure them that we will endeavor to be great brand ambassadors,” he added.

ISPS is no stranger to the sporting world. The organisation has supported golfing events across the PGA Tour, the European Tour, Asia Tour and Legends Tour.

They branched out in football to support the Fives Futbol in Cape Town and last year partnered with the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund to create the Nelson Mandela Championship.
