The 19-year-old versatile dancer, Benny Chiloane aka “Chilli” needs people’s votes to make Mpumalanga proud.

He was chosen as a finalist in the Sprite uncontainable talent-search contest, in the dance and graffiti category.

Benny was born and bred in Mbombela and only started dancing in public when he was 12, although he learned to dance at the age of eight, “Dancing keeps me wise, it is an element of who I am and has always been.”

He added that his first step to receive exposure in the dance scene, was to join dance groups. The Sprite Uncontainable competition creates a platform for members of the public to showcase their various talents. The finals will take place at Zone 6, Diepkloof, and Soweto on August 2.

Public relation Tumi Shumba said, “The talented Benny needs some community votes to win the awesome trip of a life time to New York in 2015, where he may enjoy a truly uncontainable experience.”

Community members can vote at www.spritehiphop.co.za. Voting closes at 20:00 on August 2. Lucky voters in Johannesburg stand a chance to win tickets to the finals.

The action-packed event brought to you by Sprite, the NBA shock RA entertainment and W.A.R media features international hip-hop stars, Pharoache Monch and Jean Grae. Local artists will be Revivolution, Reason and Muggz.

Hip-hop DJs such as Vigilante, Vardz, P-Kuttah, Zakes and Mix, Total fresh dance crew and Beballets.
