Plenty of trialists as Black Aces

Absa Premiership outfit Mpumalanga Black Aces have confirmed that at least 11 players are attending trials at the club ahead of the new season.  

The likes of former Kaizer Chiefs captain Tinashe Nengomasha and ex-Bafana Bafana star Sibusiso Zuma are among the players on trial.

 

Other players hoping to make an impact on veteran coach Clive Barker and win a contract are Johannes Motlhaping, Dino Visser, Rowen Fernandez, Sipho Mngomezulu, Darren Lurie, Augustine Leonard, Jabulane Mazibuko, Kamogelo Mashikinya and Nhlanhla Zothwane.

 

Aces have confirmed through a statement on the club’s official website that they have released six players from last season’s group.

 

They are Innocent Mdledle, Stanley Kgatla, Aleni Lebyane, Omar Hendricks, Mohau Motaung and Donovan Thompson.

 

Meanwhile the club have confirmed which players have extended their contracts. They are Calvin Marlin, Bafana Nhlapo, Energy Murambadoro, Vincent Kobola, Thabang Rooi, Mbulelo Mabizela, Eddie Ngalo, Sandile Zuke, Clifford Ngobeni, Dennis Masina, Onyekachi Okonkwo, Thabo Qalinge, Esau Mtsweni, Mabhudi Khenyeza, Tendai Ndoro and Thulasizwe Mbuyane.
