The duo have penned 5-year contracts with the Brazilians and will join their new teammates for training at Chloorkop on Thursday.
Versatile right-back Evans who can also play in the midfield shared his delight at joining the current Absa Premiership champions and hopes to add value to the team.
“Joining a club of Mamelodi Sundowns’ calibre will take my game to the next level and I’m very excited to be here. I hope for a successful stay and looking forward to the challenge,” Evans told the club’s official website.
Booysen added that he feels honoured to be playing under Coach Pitso Mosimane who he values very highly.
“Having witnessed Sundowns’ successful run in the league last season and the type of football that was displayed shows how just how great of a club this is,” said the centre back.
“Any player in the PSL right now would be inspired to play under a coach like Coach Pitso. He is very intelligent and technically sound, which make me very excited about to be part of the club.”
