Singing together creates strong bond between siblings

Have you ever heard of the saying "A family that sings together stays together", or something like that?

Have you ever heard of the saying “A family that sings together stays together”, or something like that? This has helped the Mogane family to stand by one another in good and bad times, and more especially, has taught them the importance of being closer to God.

Growing up, these talented members used to perform concerts in their home. With passion and lots of energy, the eight siblings would sing their favourite songs together to pass the time and entertain their parents.

Today, the family ministers to crowds in song. They have shared the stage with talented artists like Benjamin Dube and Solly Mahlangu.

“God restores families through music,” says the family spokesperson, Thapelo.
In 2011, they recorded a live CD at Mbombela Stadium and Thapelo says releasing the product late last year was quiet a challenging and difficult journey.

“There was no funding, no sponsors and none of us had technical experience and within the 48 months that took us to get the final product out, there were storms that we could only overcome through God’s help,” he narrates.

He refers to the whole process of delivering the final product as a faith project and to the challenges they faced as a sign that God has a purpose about their ministry.

Listening to the home-grown final product titled Love, Hope and Restoration, one can expect spiritual upliftment, a message of love and total restoration.
Be on the look out for their live DVD in July. For bookings contact Thapelo on 073-330-2749 or 079-271-0812
