MiTV launched for the benefit of locals

Online TV will create opportunities in the creative arts, multimedia and IT sectors

One of Mpumalanga News‘ weekly columns, “Success Reloaded with Hlengiwe Ngomane”, is going digital with a new online talk show, Talking Success Reloaded with Hlengiwe.

“This show is the result of a collaboration between this paper and MiTv, an innovative initiative, the very first of its kind, online TV founded by its CEO, Clifford Mei. It will address issues of youth and women development, especially when it comes to socio-economic empowerment.

Some of the topics to be tackled are skills development, registering business entities, financial management and so on.

It will be shot at various hospitality destinations, especially guest houses still classified as SMMEs.

This will give them exposure and the urge to strive to be the best in the market. Guest houses which want to be featured can contact Mei at cliff@khaya-media.co.za.

Image consultants, make-up artists and designers are welcome to come on board and partner with us. After all, this initiative is all about development for everyone,” says Ngomane.

Mei says the online TV will create opportunities in the creative arts, multimedia and IT sectors. It will provide young people in the province with opportunities for skills development and also provide them with employment opportunities.

“The nice thing about this online TV concept is that it can be accessed anywhere in the world and at any time just by logging onto www.mitv.co.za using either a Smartphone, tablet or computer,” says Mei.

Mpumalanga News editor, Bongani Hlatshwayo says, “We welcome this partnership because it will enhance youth and women’s development in our province.

“This is part of our contribution to development. Get ready for our weekly updates on topics and personalities which will be featured.”
