This comes as one of the biggest as your favourite radio station Ligwalagwala celebrates its 32nd birthday with its listeners at an event that is set to be a memorable one in the local history of entertainment.
The radio station kicked off its celebration with build-up events such as at Love Rock at the Lowveld Botanical Garden where well renowned songbird Judith Sephuma graced music lovers with her melodic voice, as she performed alongside local talent who has also set a name for himself in the music fraternity – Afrotraction.
This was then proceeded by a Hip Hop and Poetry Night which saw heavyweights of the spoken words converging to Phumal, such as Ntsiki Mazwai, Khuli Chana and Ntsiki Mazwai, among other acts.
Now the station has set the bar high as the main event approached with the music geniuses such as AKA, Big Nuz, DJs Madumane and MTN radio awards winner, Shabbisto, to name just a few.
The event is expected to take place at Mombela Stadium Precinct on April 26 and tickets range from R50 pre-sale and R100 at the gate. Tickets are available at Sneakers Edition, N4 Sasol garage(Nelspruit), Galito’s Tonga Mall, Nkomazi Plaza (Naas).
