Just when the world with much interest on Sunday as evening as the Miss South Africa beauty pageant took place at Sun City in the North West, we certainly do need to brace ourselves for a similar prestigious event next Saturday at the Emnotweni Arena.-

Crowning Miss Mpumalanga 2014 2014 will be taking place, and audiences will sure enjoy the entertainment that will accompany it with five-star performance expected to come from our one and only SA Idols runner-up, Brenden Ledwaba.-

Brenden Praise Ledwaba, is a soulful young man, born on February 5, 1994. He grew up in the small town of Graskop. He attended Graskop Primary School and then went to Sybrand Van Niekerk High School in Sabie.-

Growing up in a very musical family, Brenden started singing at the age of 6 years old and he started playing the piano at the age of 12. If you ask, Brenden, he would say, “Music has been a part of me ever since I could talk!” First, his dad taught him a few notes on the piano. Then playing the piano became natural. Later, it was clear Brenden had the skill for playing additional musical instruments.-

Brenden also taught himself to play the bass guitar and drums. He trained his ear to hear the sounds of music and his heart to feel the rhythm. In 2013, Brenden began studying sound engineering at Emendy Sound and Music Technology College in Pretoria.-

With the knowledge of Contemporary music and professional training, Brenden is well-versed in studio production, mixing, and mastering music. Aside from singing, Brenden also produces music or “make beats” and writes his own songs.-

Brenden is a genuine young man, full of life and talent, it’s no surprise he became a South African Idol Finalist. You’ll quickly see music and singing are just a small glimpse of the man he truly is.-
