Sivutsa Stars to face Leopards in Giyane

The match is scheduled for 15:30 at the Giyani Stadium.

Following their two-all draw at home against Maluti FET College over the past weekend, the NFD outfits, Sivutsa Stars, who will travel to Limpopo Province where they have an uphill date against third on the NFD table, Black Leopards, know they have to up their game to finish the season in a decent position.

The team’s PRO, Charles Nkosi, said that even though they managed to get a point from this game his charges should have done better to pocket all three points.

“A draw is better than a loss but I still feel that we should have capitalised and won the game since we were playing at home.

“But, there is no point to dwell on the past, ours now is to plan for the remaining games and adopt a winning mentality,” said Nkosi.

“We are playing against one of the toughest teams in this division and they are fighting for a spot in the play-offs. We expect them to throw everything at us, but we will be ready to throw our bombs at them.

“We are not going there just to add numbers but to fight for our pride and hopefully get a point and if we are lucky we might just get all three points,” continued Nkosi.

The match is scheduled for 15:30 at the Giyani Stadium.

Stars are currently occupying the 11th spot on the table, while Leopards who are mentored by former Orlando Pirates coach Kosta Papic, are in position three and are well on track to book a space in the

play-offs.

Currently leading the pack in the NFD, is the Cape Town-based Chippa United who are comfortably sitting on 45 points after

23 games followed by the Polokwane-based Baroka FC.
