Gospel artist ready to send the message

"God spoke to me and said ,it was time to preach his word through music"

A local gospel artist is ready to preach the word of God by using his golden voice. Sabelo Siwela of Gemu near White River will release his first album entitled Ena Ke Nako (It’s harvest time) comprising 13 tracks before the Easter holiday.

Speaking to Mpumalanga News after a listening session which was attended by various media house personalities at Matume Golf Course in the city, Siwela said he started singing at a very early age.

“I started singing when I was very young, but I was shy. As time went on, I joined the church choir and from there God spoke to me and said it was time to preach his word through music. The album is full of praises and worshipping songs that can heal people. Because it is not just gospel songs, I sing from my heart to give God praises and by listening to the album, you will be uplifted spiritually.”

Mpumalanga News learnt that Siwela worked with various people who are talented in gospel music which includes the likes of well-known and talented producer in the province, Ndumiso Manana, Past Mxolisi Lephoko of Church on the Hill, Fortunate Nkosi, Thulani Nkosi and Bongani Thwala. As soon as his album is released, he plans to visit different areas in the province to spread the word of God and added, “I want to worship God everywhere I go as an ambassador of Christ and being a living testimony. I wish one day to share the stage with anointed gospel artists such as the gospel queen, Rebecca Malope, Sipho Makhabane, Pastor Benjamin Dube and Dumi Kostad, just to name a few,“ he concluded.
