MBOMBELA – Mpumalanga, brace yourself for the first-of-a-kind networking event to hit this region.

The organiser Ms Tshidi Lebenya said it aimed to create a platform for businessmen and -women, including community leaders and others to socialise and discuss issues affecting the country.

This came about when she realised that not much was happening in the region regarding networking sessions at which like-minded people could engage on issues while having fun at the same time. She added that the event, dubbed Lowveld Lifestyle and Networking Evening, would boast the likes of internationally renowned musician, Ray Phiri and the reputable actress and motivator, Nambitha Mpumlwana, who plays Mawande Memela in Generations, and would not only be an evening of fun, but would also touch on day-to-day issues that occur within communities.

Lebenya indicated that the event would include pop-up shops and gallery square. It is set to take place at Union Motors on February 25 and tickets cost R200. They are available at Tops The Grove or you can send an email to: matselisolebenya@gmail.com

Part of the proceeds will go to Esther’s Children’s Orphanage in Msholozi.
