Avid skateboarders can look forward to two days of demonstrations and a chance to try their hand at obstacles in the special skate park, as part of the Maroela Makiti festivities.
The Maroela Makiti will be taking place on January 31 and February 1 at Hoërskool Bergvlam and will be visited by four professional skateboarders from Johannesburg.
Lebogang Modise, Brendon Dyamond, Thabo Nage and David Woolf will be showing Nelspruit skateboarders their best tricks.
A skateboarding competition will be taking place on February 1 from 12:00, with registration between 10:00 and 11:00.
The skate park will be set up by G-sk8t, a Nelspruit skateboarding organization. It will have, among others, a ¼ pipe, park bench, fixed rails, pole jam and kicker ramps.
