Celebrity wish list for 2014

It is apparent from these interviews that these personalities have the interests of their listeners and fans at heart.

It is the New Year and our team of dedicated journalists went out of their way to interview some of our personalities about their wishes for 2014. This is what they had to say:

Kaspero (Kwaito and hip hop artist, producer, CEO of Iyash’Inamba baba Music)

“I actually do not believe in resolutions, but what I do believe in is that “kusazoba mnandi” in 2014. The launch of the Iyash’Inamba Baba music stable in May last year was just the beginning. I spent the whole of 2013 learning more on the behind the scenes of music, writing songs and stuff and this year, the fruits of that investment must come to life”.

@_mpnews: We really hope that your hard work will pay off. We heard that DJ Tira was frequenting your INBM studios, so we shall patiently await those fruits.

DJ Shabba (Ligwalagwala FM Radio personality)

DJ Shabba told this publication that he is still dedicated to carry on growing the listernship of the station. He said he was also looking forward to continue encouraging the youth not to be selective on jobs.

@_mpnews: We must say, this is one of the projects that caught our eye last year and we hope that the message is indeed attracting the ears of the intended recepients. Big Up Shabbisto!

Mawethu Ngwenya (Baberton Community BCR FM)

“My focus this year is growth, especially as far as my career is concerned. I have been with BCR for six years now and I feel it is time to start thinking of change”.

@_mpnews: Well, we must say, you are good at what you do and with oozing passion like that coupled with that six years, the sky is the limit. All the best!

Promise Moripa (Bushbuckridge BBR FM)

Promise told this paper that he does not have specific resolutions. He will continue with his youth empowerment talks, encouraging young people to take education seriously.

@_mpnews: Well we think that is the message to be giving to young people and we are convinced that your talks have also contributed to the 78.2% pass rate. All the best!

Wow, it is apparent from these interviews that these personalities have the interests of their listeners and fans at heart.
