Enthusiastic beauty contestants have been warned that December 5, 2013, is the last day of accepting their entries to be eligible to contest for the coveted crown of Miss Mpumalanga 2014.
According to organiser, Mzimari Productions’CEO, Ms Gugu Nyarenda, this is an opportunity that was specially opened for would-be contestants at tertiary insitutions across the country, who specifically requested, through popular demand, that they be granted an opportunity to present themselves before the panel of judges.
“The opportunity has been granted, but only this time the would-be contestants have to email their full length and portrait photos, including their CVs to gugu@mzimariproductions.co.za and the judges will go through them and make a call to the qualifying contestants for an intensive interview.
“Time is not on our side as in early January we have to pick the final Top 15 contestants that will be vying for the crown on april 13, 2014. i must warn the girls though, that the contest is more tougher this year than the previous years, as we’ve set ourselves standards to get better each year, and the girls, too, have to be better,” warned Nyarenda.
