Mpumalanga lads have their game on the competition

"We do not want to stand in the way of the voters this year, they will decide who they want and we will let them have their say," said Randal.

With only four weeks to go before the next South African idol is announced, Mpumalanga lads still have their game on the competition. After taking the audience back to the 90 ‘s on Sunday, comments from the judges gave the province hope that their homeboys might put the province with a pioneering spirit on the Idols map for the first time.

‘Teddy Bear’ Musa took the back to the time with R-Kelly’s ‘Bump and Grind’ during his performance and showed off his vocal bravado with a breath-taking second performance of Dave Hollister’s “I can’t stay”. Musa, whose mostly known for his humility, was comfortable and totally in his elements and showed his fans his different side. The charmer himself, Brenden, who was on the bottom three for the first time last week got his game back after both his performances impressing Unathi with the hot performance.

Last night’s results saw Bunny saying goodbye to the competion. After they were asked if they were going to use their save to keep her in the show, the judges announced that they will not be saving any contestant this year.

“We do not want to stand in the way of the voters this year, they will decide who they want and we will let them have their say,” said Randal.
