Prepare well to be next queen-Ntandoyenkosi

Kunene warns would-be queens to be wary of the many challenges ahead of them as they prepare to impress the judges during auditions on Friday.

The journey to qualify to wear the Miss Mpumalanga crown is not an easy one, warns current queen, Ntandoyenkosi Kunene.

Kunene warns would-be queens to be wary of the many challenges ahead of them as they prepare to impress the judges during auditions on Friday, at the Emnotweni Sun Hotel between 10:00 to 17:00 and another audition takes place in the Nkangala district on Saturday at the same time.

“This time last year, I also had butterflies in my stomach when I thought of what I had to go through with the auditions. It takes more than just looking beautiful as beauty is God-given, but you need to have those qualities which are required for you to play a meaningful role.

“My tip to enthusiasts is that you need to be versatile. Obviously, if you don’t read or conduct your own research on many aspects of life, how do you expect to survive the questions from the judges?

“An adequate education, accompanied by a broad mindset will certainly set you on a pedestal making you tough competition. Your dress sense also compliments your inner and outer beauty and everything will exude your full strength so that you may succeed,” she said.

You’ve been repeatedly warned that all constestants should bring along full length and portrait photos of themselves plus their registration fee of R100 on the day.
