East High director up in arms over ‘poor administration’

"There are certain teams that they are siding with," said a fuming Nkuna.

East High Academy director, Abel Nkuna has lashed out at what he terms “poor administrators of football in the province”.
This is after his team lost their appeal against Zone Mavo of Middelburg.
Nkuna’s team, East High, had lodged an appeal against Mavo after they had allegedly fielded SuperSport United player, Zakhele Mgobhozi in their play-off games.
The game was to determine which team would be promoted to the Mpumalanga ABC Motsepe League. Mavo eventually won the game 2-1 and they have since been promoted to the ABC Motsepe League.
“I’m currently looking for interested people who want to purchase the team. Football administrators in the province are not doing football justice.
“There are certain teams that they are siding with,” said a fuming Nkuna.
He has since decided to quit football for good.
East High was set to play against Matsulu Chelsea in the Ehlanzeni SAB Regional League, Mgwenya Stream 1, over the weekend but their match was postponed as they have not registered their players.

Nkuna said he was not sure if they would host their next match against Msogwaba United on Sunday.
The match is expected to take place at Mbombela Stadium at 15:00.
