Men in blue to show prowess on the pitch

The last time we met, the Matsapha-based SAPS team thrashed us 2-1

In what is expected to be an interesting soccer game, Swaziland Police will face-off their South African counterparts at the University of Mpumalanga sports ground in a social game on Saturday.

Kick-off will be at 12:00.

The games will also involve the students from the university.

Lucky Mathenjwa, of the Matsapha Police in Swaziland, says the game against the police from Mbombela is going to be heated.

“The last time we met, the Matsapha-based SAPS team thrashed us 2-1. We will have our revenge for that defeat and we are going to do that in front of their own crowd,” vowed spokesperson for the Mbombela police, Solly Mbokodo.

Swaziland team organiser, Mathenjwa says the games are about forging friendships among the two countries’ police forces, as well as the students too.
