MBOMBELA- The management of Nelspruit Angels received 10 brand-new soccer balls from sponsors last week.
“This is a way of ploughing back into the community we serve and to help in the development of soccer from grass-roots level. We fully understand that when the young people are kept busy, away from carelessly roaming the streets, they will be less involved in criminal activities,” explained Rehman Abdul of Cosmo Carpets, one of the sponsors.
The team manager Sam Mnisi expressed his words of appreciation to all privately owned stakeholders for their continued support to the squad, including the management of Nelspruit Plaza SUPERSPAR, MSK Security Training, Kisani Hardware, Sasol Emkhatsini Garage and Malite & Sons and Together Funerals.
Mnisi added that a big tournament for the youth of Msogwaba and surrounding was in
the pipeline. He also invited team owners who are willing to sell their teams in the SAB League to kindly contact him on 082 517 4199.
