Home club welcomes British delegate’s fighting expertise

"Hosting Vice will be an opportunity of a life time and an eye-opener to members".

As part of improving and obtaining more skills in martial arts Nelspruit Taekwando Club will host a world-respected delegate from Britain, Warren Vice.

It’s reported that Vice will visit a few provinces to conduct fighting seminars and Mpumalanga is one of them.

Speaking to this publication, the instructor of the club, Job Magagula says hosting Vice will be an opportunity of a lifetime and an eye-opener to his members in terms of paying more attention in developing their fighting skills.

“This is a good opportunity because we are preparing for the world championship in Italy this year,” says Magagula.

Vice is a fifth-degree black belt of tae kwan do and an undisputed championship of the world.

The Nelspruit Taekwando Club has put this province on the map on numerous occasions by scooping medals and trophies at competitions.

Magagula said since they had performed exceptionally well last year at national and provincial tournaments, this year they wanted to maintain their good record.

The club did outstandingly well during the Taekwando International South Africa National Championship.

Eight members who participated managed to bring back four gold medals, three silver, four bronzes and two trophies.
