Black Aces to host Celtics at Mbombela Stadium

Mpumalanga Black Aces will host Bloemfontein Celtics at the Mbombela Stadium next Wednesday during the Absa PSL game scheduled for 19:30.
Following their weekend’s impressive run, the home team is planning to transform the venue into their own slaughter house.
“We want to make full use of our home advantage and show no mercy to any team coming here, but we can’t do it on our own – we need our supporters to fill the stadium.
It’s very disappointing and embarrassing for us as hosts to attract very few fans at home and so we appeal for support during our home games, especially at the Mbombela Stadium,” appealed Masondo.
He made this appeal after Aces hosted Supersport United to an embarrassing empty stadium on Sunday.
“One of the reasons we bring the games to the stadium, is to give all our fans and soccer-loving people an opportunity to come watch games at a neutral venue.
“Mbombela Stadium is strategically positioned to accommodate supporters of the Gert Sibande, eMalahleni, Nkangala and Ehlanzeni districts,” he went on.
However, he made it clear that they would love to take games to other parts of the province such as in Middelburg, but those venues are small and are undergoing facelifts.
