Two days left before Carling Black Label Champion Cup

With just two days before the Soweto Derby shire featuring Orlando Pirates versus Kaizer Chiefs in the Carling Black Label 2017 Cup, the hype seems to be more interesting between two Soweto giants.

The two coaches of this year s’ one-day cup final are looking very young and energetic compared to the previous years.

Kaizer Chiefs will be under Manthulane Aphane while Orlando Pirates will be coached by Chief Nkoko. Both gentlemen are optimistic that they will put a smile on their fans’ faces.

However, the truth of the mater is that only one team will be crowned as the champions. As things stand, the pressure looks to be more on Orlando Pirates as they failed to win last year and ended the ABSA league below the top eight.

Pirates coach Nkoko promised to restore the image of the club. “Pirates fans come in your numbers and witness our victory over Amakhosi,” he said.

Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs will have to work extra hard this time around in the absentia of their veteran Simphiwe Shabalala.

Shabalala will miss the match due to an injury, but the coach believes that  they will still be able to defend the Carling Black Label.

“We have worked around that and we are prepared to make our fans proud by beating Orlando Pirates,” said Manthulane.
