Both teams are in search of nothing less than three points.

Niether team have really been on fire in the premiership this season. The fans want the players to deliver.

Kaizer Chiefs boss, Kaizer Motaung, made it clear that since they could no longer defend their title, his team needed to finish at least as runners- up, collecting every point on offer.

On the other hand, Aces  coach, Muhsin Ertugral, vowed  that his team would finish the  season in a decent position on  the log.

He made his intentions loud  and clear, he wanted to participate in a CAF competition.

Aces will come to this clash, which promises to be nothing but spectacular, full of confidence after successfully qualifying for the quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup. The home team defeated Maritzburg United 2-0 to gain passage to the last eight.
“We are confident that we  will win this game.

“We have done our homework well,” said Aces spokesman, Gordon Masondo.

Aces are currently in fifth place with 37 points after 23 games, while Chiefs are fourth with 39, also after 23 games.

If Aces win this clash, they will climb to fourth with 40 points.

A win for Chiefs will not  make any changes on the table as they will remain in their current position with 42 points, just one behind Platinum Stars.

Masondo said he hoped the stadium would be packed, unlike  in their previous encounters.
Stadium spokesperson, Mthuthuzeli Qamba, said preparations for this game were at  an advanced stage.
“Our only concern now is  to get soccer supporters buying tickets on time and coming to the stadium,” said Qamba. He was not able to hide his disappointment following the poor showing of supporters, during the Nedbank Cup game between Aces and Maritzburg United at KaNyamazane Stadium  last Saturday.

“We hope that this time fans  will make us proud,” he said. Full park-and-ride system will be operational. Tickets are selling at R50 for adults and R20 for children. Mpumalanga News and Black Aces are giving away 10 double tickets for this fixture.  All you have to do is simply  SMS ‘Aces’ to 072-866-3684.
