This was the Lions’ third win following their two previous victories. The match was a narrow victory of 40-38. The Lions could have roared all the way with a higher score, but well done to them anyway. Will they raise the bar next week when they face their away clash with the Jaguars and here against the Crusaders? These two matches will determine whether the team indeed are the king of the jungle. Congratulations to Zeney van der Walt for breaking the South African junior 400-metres hurdles record that stood 35 years. This is an astonishing achievement and deserves all the praises!
