Little Picassos unleashed in fun painting session in Mbombela

These youngsters were excited to delve into a world of colour when they created their own colourful paintings.

Some girls and boys created their own colourful masterpieces during the kids’ edition of Sip & Paint with Kiki.

The little budding Picassos were hosted at the Sunset Driving Range on Saturday, September 21.

The founder of Sip & Paint with Kiki, Tebogo Shakoane, also known as Kiki, said the event was exclusively for children aged two to 15. “It was a fun-filled day of painting and delicious snacks. The children’s colourful paintings really brought some light to the gloomy weather. It was an excellent way for parents to have the children outdoors and encourage their creative side in a fun way,” she said.

Part of the day’s programme included an educational activity conducted by a school social worker, Zanele Hlatshwayo. She interacted with the children through some active games and also questions to boost their mental awareness.

Shakoane said the painting sessions for kids are continuous and she also offers them to adults. She conducts these painting sessions under her brand, Limitless Art by Kiki.

She is a creative boasting as a multiskilled fine artist, interior decorator and a graphic designer.
