Miss Pienaar determined to encourage young girls and promote education

Nolwazi Mdhluli believes she is one of the women who will make significant contributions in the country.

The charming and bubbly Nolwazi Mdhluli (18) from Pienaar is a strong believer in ubuntu.

“To me, ubuntu is being able to do well unto others, spreading love and respect and being able to help wherever you can without asking anything in return. I am passionate about education and every child has a right to access to education. I want to spread awareness about the benefits of education and the need for everyone to have access to it. I will work tirelessly to make that vision a reality,” she said.

Nolwazi is the current reigning Miss Pienaar. She said she ventured into modelling to build her self-esteem and confidence. “Being Miss Pienaar means I have the influence to encourage young people to never lose hope in education. It is one thing we can boast of achieving, because it will never be taken away, no matter the circumstances. We need to remind young people that any careers are acquired with a form of education,” she said.
