An articulated truck has rolled and lost its load of cement bags, resulting in chaos at the R40 and Plaston road intersection at Rocky Drift.
This is according to Emer-G-Med’s Martin Jeffrey who is currently on scene. He said the situation was being made worse by members of the public stopping and looting the truck.
He said it is understood that the truck, registered in Mozambique, was heading down the Plaston Road, wanting to turn left onto the R40 when the driver lost control and ended up rolling the truck.

The SAPS is on scene, and the pubic is urged to avoid the area as the road will remain closed indefinitely.
