PSiRA to update media on investigations into alleged training of 95 Libyans conducted by Milites Dei Security near White River

The media briefing session will take place tomorrow, August 7, in Pretoria.

The director of the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSiRA), Manabela Chauke, has convened a media briefing to provide an update on the ongoing investigations into the alleged military training conducted by Milites Dei Security Services near White River.

The briefing session will take place at the PSiRA head offices in Pretoria on Wednesday August 7.

Ninety five Libyan nationals were arrested during a raid on the farm on which the military-style camp is situated on July 26.

They made first appearance in the White River Magistrate’s Court on July 29, facing charges of contravening the Immigration Act.

They appeared again on August 5. The case was postponed to August 26 for further investigation, and all 95 accused were remanded in custody at the Mbombela Correctional Services.
