Popular local rapper from Nhlazatje set to release new EP

This local artist believes his fans and music lovers in general will enjoy his EP, which is scheduled for November 2024.

The local hip-hop sensation, Flow T is currently in the studio finishing up his latest EP, Heart of Flesh, which is set to drop in November.

Born Thando Bongumenzi Lukhele, the 26-year-old lyricist said this EP is long overdue and he hopes that his fans and music lovers in general will enjoy it.

He told Lowvelder Express that the six songs on the EP speaks about the pain and hurt that people face every day, which drives them to have bitter and cold hearts.

“It’s actually more of a sad song that carries a powerful message intended to uplift the broken-hearted,” said Lukhele.

He started singing and freestyling while still in school. He said he loved singing and rapping so much that he would perform for the entire school and at community events.

“One of the exciting moments, which made me realise I have a passion for music, was when I received a lot of compliments about my singing style.”

Lukhele once did an airplay and appeared on one of Mzansi’s loved TV soap operas, Isithembiso.
In 2015 he managed to release his first EP Intellectual Prodigy.

He released his single “Girls love love” in 2019, which garnered him some recognition in the music industry. And in 2021 he released a song, “Nothing but Grenades”.

Lukhele said one of his best achievements was when he shared a stage with some well-known artists such as Duncan, DJ Oskido and Black Motion.

He said he dreams of working with more well-known artists and of travelling around the world.

He said after the release of his new EP, he will dedicate his energy and time to live shows.
