Nkomazi gospel artist wants to heal others through his new song

This local artist is confident that this new song will inspire others and help make a difference.

A local gospel singer, Eugene Langa, is working on another inspiring song, “UnguJehova Ophilayo”, that will be released in September.

This 31-year-old said the song is about praising God and how powerful and great He is on Earth. It is a praise and worship song that focuses on the role God plays in people’s lives.

Langa said he believes the song will heal and encourage many others out there. “One of my future plans is to do live recordings and keep on healing people through music,” said Langa.
His love of music started while he was in the Emmanuel Full Gospel Church in Sunday school.

“I started singing in Sunday school around 2007. Later, I was promoted to lead in the youth choir, youth services and youth camps. I started singing and performing professionally in 2010, when I released an album titled Iyez’iNkosi, which reminds everyone about the coming of Jesus Christ.

This comes after I was discovered by the late producer, Dennis Bothma, who recorded my first album. I also started composing my own songs to inspire others,” said Langa.

One of his best achievements was when his song, titled “Uyapholisa”, became popular and received a lot of airplay on the radio in 2022.

The song was nominated in the 9th Mpumalanga Gospel Music Awards in the category Best Traditional Gospel Song.
Langa said his music, including this new song, can be found on all digital platforms.
