Miss Junior Pienaar vows to instil good values and morals

The 13-year-old hopes to become Miss South Africa in the future while being a trustworthy leader who makes good impact on her community.

The young and modest Buhle Mondlane (13) said she is committed to upholding and imparting good values and morals that will empower her peers to be future leaders.

She is the current reigning Miss Junior Pienaar 2023/24 and is set to make an impact during and after her reign.

“I have become a community leader and some of my peers look up to me. I want to teach youngsters to be respectful, trustworthy, generous, responsible and honest, which will encourage them to live a morally good life. Winning this title was a dream come true and I appreciate the support my family has given me,” Buhle said.

The Grade Eight learner encouraged youngsters to stay in school as she believes education is important.

“I want to be a dentist and also continue doing pageants and modelling. I will eventually become Miss South Africa just like my role model, Natasha Joubert, who was crowned Miss South Africa 2023. I believe the winning recipe to achieving one’s dream is education and dedication.”

Buhle’s grandmother, Patience Mathebula, supports Buhle on her journey to become a successful leader, model and dentist.

“When Buhle asked us to enter to Miss Junior Pienaar, she assured us that she would win the title and we are happy that she did. We admire her because she believes in herself and is a go-getter. She is a smart girl and wishes to impart her humility and kindness to the rest of the community,” Mathebula said.
