Masoyi SAPS seeks assistance in finding missing Chochocho resident

Vusi Mthombothi's (37) family has not heard from him since he was last seen in Chochocho Trust on Wednesday May 22.

The Masoyi SAPS requests help to find Vusi Mthombothi (37) of Chochocho Trust and reunite him with his family.
A provincial police spokesperson, Colonel Donald Mdhluli, said Mthombothi was last seen in Chochocho at about 14:00 on Wednesday May 22. His family has not heard from him since then.

“According to his relatives, he was last seen in blue jeans and a blue and maroon jacket. It is worth noting that he is a mental health patient,” said Mdhluli.

He said a search was conducted, but yielded no results. The police are urging anyone with information to contact Detective Sergeant Hazel Mavimbela on 064 743 8565. Alternatively, call the Crime Stop number on 086 001 0111 or send information via the My SAPS app. All received information will be treated as confidential and people may opt to remain anonymous.
