Plenty of fun at first Family Picnic and Market Day in Numbi

The first Family Picnic and Market Day was a success. The stallholders had something for everyone, while the children were kept entertained.

It was a fun-filled day in the Numbi sunshine as some families recently gathered at the Numbi Gate Spin City for the first Family Picnic and Market Day on February 10.

Picnic blankets, camping chairs and cooler boxes could be seen everywhere, and the children enjoyed a host of activities with their friends in a foam pit and on a water slide into the swimming pool, as well as on multiple bouncy castles.

There was certainly no shortage of fun for the parents either, who were able to buy food from a few stalls while listening to a steady flow of music throughout the day.

Part of the event was a cultural heritage expression with various traditional dancers entertaining the attendees, and even the orphans from Masoyi villages were part of the fun.

The stallholders were supported by the people and made some extra income from the day. Crafters were also given free stalls to showcase and sell their products.
