SPONSORED: Meet the Crowning Miss Mpumalanga top 10

The annual Crowning Miss Mpumalanga is scheduled for Saturday March 16 at which one of these lovely ladies will be honoured.

One of the beautiful women pictured here will soon leave the Communio Auditorium in Mbombela as the new queen of the province.

This will all play out during the annual Crowning Miss Mpumalanga, scheduled for Saturday March 16.

As always, the momentum and hype around this contest are already building up, as it has paved a path to countless opportunities for the young girls of this province.

Having proven itself a notable show, arguably one of the province’s signature events, Crowning Miss Mpumalanga 2024 promises to be nothing but a spectacle.

Proudly presented by the tried and Mzimari Productions, and supported by the Mpumalanga Economic Regulator, this event is not just about entertainment, but also about empowering young women while at the same time opening doors for those who participate.

Mzimari Productions’ boss lady, Gugu Nyarenda, said they were impressed by the level of intelligence and beauty of all the contestants who made it to the top 10.
“Everyone who has been following this pageant can attest to the fact that the standard keeps on growing every year. The growth in terms of the show’s popularity and the calibre of participants is extremely overwhelming. As you would know, this beauty pageant attracts the attention of academics and young girls who have bigger dreams and aspirations to change the face of the world,” said Nyarenda.

“This year’s show is dedicated to all our previous participants, including our former queens. But above all, this year we are honouring and remembering all the victims and survivors of gender-based violence. We have observed many young women are being victimised, raped, abused and killed, and this is our small contribution to raise much-needed awareness against this dreadful virus, GBV.”

She said this is the reason they have invited a female musical sensation, Nkosazana Daughter, to dish out her best during the show. She will share the stage with Thabo and Dudlu kaDlamini.

Nyarenda said tickets are still available at Webticket and Pick n Pay outlets, but are selling at a rapid pace.
