IN PHOTOS: Storm damage to Mbombela and surrounding areas

The sudden storm in Mbombela on November 21 caused damage to cars and infrastructure, uprooted trees, and even ripped the roofs off some buildings. Here are some of the after-effects in images.

Most of the roads in Mbombela were covered in debris due to the storm that hit the city just before 15:00 today, November 21.

A roof on one of the buildings in Anderson Street was blown off and one person was reportedly injured as a result.

In both Bell Street and the R40 near the old showgrounds, only one lane is open due to some trees that were uprooted. A tree had also been uprooted on Waterfall Avenue in Riverside, but has already been cleared away.
