Masoyi gospel musician aims to inspire people

Lindokuhle Morele said the support for his latest song, "Tirhela Hosi", has been great since its release in October.

A gospel singer and songwriter, Lindokuhle Morele, is set to encourage and inspire young people to accept God as their Saviour through his music.

Morele aims to be the best in the local music scene. He was born and raised in Chochocho near Masoyi with Christian values and taught to fear God.

He said music has always been part of his life. “I am also a minister of the Word of God. I feel the world needs more of what God has planted in me. I opted to touch lives through music. I ventured into music professionally in 2019, but have been singing in various choirs from a young age.”

Morele has released a song, “Tirhela Hosi”, on October 1. “It is inspired by the scripture Colossians 3:23: Whatever may be your task, work at it heartily (from the soul), as [something done] for the Lord and not for men. Whatever we do, we are doing for the Glory of God.”

He said his approach is to release singles until he is ready to drop an album. “My previous single, ‘Bounce Back’, touched many lives and made me a name in the music industry.”

Morele is also an inspirational speaker, pastor, adviser and voiceover artist. He has worked alongside great musicians such as Ndumiso Manana, also known as ‘Papa Ndu’, and Thabang ‘Gospel Mogul’ Mnisi. He has gifted his time in church to grow his talent as church choir conductor and youth leader.

He was a radio host who took over the airwaves presenting the Men’s Conference Show on Vibrant FM on Sunday afternoons, and a regular guest presenter on Voice of Hope FM.
