Two Mpumalangans compete in final of Idols SA Season 19
Princess McDonald from Bushbuckridge and Thabo Ndlovu from eMalahleni are the only contestants left in the Idols SA Season 19 competition and they are vying for first place.
The two contestants representing Mpumalanga in Idols SA season 19, Princess McDonald (24) from Bushbuckridge and Thabo Ndlovu (26) from eMalahleni, are the last two standing. Following the announcement made on Saturday October 28, it is clear that once again, the Idols SA winner will be coming from Mpumalanga.
The results were announced live on Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161) and Mzansi Wethu (DStv channel 163).
The last two got to debut their original studio singles on Saturday’s episode. Ndlovu’s single was “iSlungu” and McDonald’s was “You know I do”.

During an interview with Ndlovu on Monday, he said he would like to see the two of them coming together, knowing that they did their best. “Whatever the outcome is, we will leave knowing that we pushed and gave it our all.”
Ndlovu said he did not get himself to the top two. According to him, it was the voters and supporters who took their time to vote.

He said he loved working on his single. “Working on it meant I had to push myself, and it was an amazing experience,” he said.
The two will battle it out in the finale on Saturday November 4. With the grand prize of R1m at stake, this is the very last season of Idols SA after 21 years of airing on SA’s TV screens.
To vote for Ndlovu, SMS 08 to 37400 and for McDonald, SMS 07.
