Blessing Mnisi from Lydenburg releases new gospel single

The new single is very special to his heart, as it engraves his faith and encourages his audience to believe in a higher power.

Blessing Mnisi released his new single on September 28 after it was recorded live in April. Several Bible verses have inspired him to write “Kea Dumela”.

One of them is Luke 40:50: “But Jesus, hearing it, answered him, Fear not; only believe, and she shall be made whole. Jesus overheard and said, ‘Don’t be upset. Just trust me, and everything will be alright.”

Last year, his first single, “No Weapon”, was awarded second place in the best trending song category at the Mpumalanga Gospel Awards.

During this prestigious event, he also won the awards for best producer, best male artist and best worship artist.

“I’m thankful to God and the full support of my fans and gospel lovers who made it possible for me to release the single. Without them, it wouldn’t have been possible,” said Mnisi.

He has touched many hearts with his performances since growing up in Kildare Village near Bushbuckridge. His late father, Msindiswa Mnisi, was a bishop and founder of Jehovah Shammah Bible Church.

“While studying in Gauteng after school, I was presented with a platform to work closely with some of the gospel giants like Bishop Benjamin Dube, Vuyo Mokoena, Keke Phoofolo, William Sejake, Lebo Sekgobela, and Ndivhuwo Matumba,” he said.

Throughout his life, he has been shaped by his love of music. With his church and youth fellowship movement, Mnisi has been focusing on the upliftment of young people.
