Lowveld Walkers walk to raise funds for one of its members

The founder of the Lowveld Walkers, Joseph Mashaba, said they saw it fit to do something special recently for one of their members who will be going abroad.

The Lowveld Walkers hit the road on Saturday August 5 as a way to raise funds for one of their members travelling to Fulda, Germany. They walked from Sasol Emkhatsini to the KaMagugu road.

According to Joseph Mashaba, the founder of Lowveld Walkers, Thobeka Hadebe is a committed member. “We decided to make it her farewell walk and raised about R3 500. She will be travelling on Monday August 14, and we wanted to give her pocket money to spend while she was there. We wanted to do something special for her, as she will be travelling abroad.”
