Mpumalanga MEC for health visits mobile clinic in Mkhuhlu

The aim of the visit was to monitor healthcare services in the area.

On Friday July 28, the MEC for health, Sasekani Manzini, conducted an unannounced visit to a mobile clinic that provides primary healthcare services to the communities in Mkhuhlu and surroundings areas.

The purpose of the visit was to monitor the provision of healthcare services.

Manzini said she was pleased with the commitment displayed by the healthcare professionals to patients. She urged communities in the isolated areas and the newly displaced populations to use this services to their benefit.

“The department will continue to use mobile clinics to improve access to primary healthcare services with its flexibility. Mobile clinics have assisted our health professionals to respond dynamically to evolving health needs, over the years.”
