KaBokweni community supports SPAR Proteas

KaBokweni Community Hall has a big screen set up for locals to watch the Netball World Cup games.

Young and old netball enthusiasts of the community of KaBokweni, gathered to watch the first game of the Netball World Cup 2023 on a big screen on Friday July 28, which was set up at the KaBokweni Community Hall.

The supporters cheered for the SPAR Proteas as they took over the netball court at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.

On the day South Africa was playing against Wales, where South Africa won the match, 61-50.

The Mpumalanga Department of Culture, Sport, and Recreation has allocated facilities where people in the province can watch the games on big screens.
The areas in Ehlanzeni District include the KaMhlushwa and the KaBokweni halls, which open from 15:00 for the public. Entrance is free.
