KwaMhlanga teen wins international crown

Siphokazi Moholole was recently crowned the new Miss International Pre-teen Globe.

A 13-year-old beauty queen, Siphokazi Jennifer Mohohole, was recently crowned the first-ever Miss International Preteen Globe 2023 in Paraguay.

Siphokazi was victorious in the competition held from Saturday to Friday July 1 to 7.

Confident and beautiful as she was, she represented the country in the best way possible in every category she participated. Her national costume was detailed with beads, and featured the colours of the South African flag and those of her Ndebele culture.

Siphokazi also received an award in the swimsuit category. She said she could not believe it when she was named the winner on Friday.

“As young as I am, I stood in a faraway country, proudly knowing where I am rooted and where I come from. I worked very hard to obtain this crown, and I believe it is a motivation to other young girls who also dream big,” she said.

She thanked everyone who supported her in fulfilling her dream to be an international beauty queen, advocating for youth empowerment.

“The universe does listen, and it truly conspires in helping us to get what we want. To the young girls, do not be scared to dream,” she said.
