Mbombela DJ heals broken souls with soul music

This talented artist said he is always ready to make a difference by healing his fans who are lovers of music.

One of Mpumalanga’s pioneers of soul and R & B, DJ Mduduzi Justice Nyalunga, known as Justice Soul, continues to mesmerise music lovers with his mixing skills.

When he is playing his collections during music events, one could swear it is someone from a big commercial radio station, such as Radio 2000 or Metro FM, who is big on soul and R & B music.

Mpumalanga News recently sat down with this talented DJ and got to know him better.

“I just love music in general. This helps me understand my audience well when playing my sets. I know exactly what to play for my followers and lovers of soul and R&B music. What also makes me a hit is the fact that playlists are classic and can never be forgotten,” said Soul.

He said the mixes he plays heal the minds and souls of music lovers.

“Before taking or approaching a gig, I give myself some time and study my audience. This helps me to prepare the right music for the right audience. But there are certain circumstances in which I am not given a memo, and this calls for that creativity to play for what is in front of me. I always try to be as relevant as I can,” he said.

Soul has been in the game for a long time now and plays at weddings, corporate functions and many other events. He was recently featured on one of Mpumalanga’s online radio stations, on which he hosted his own soul and R & B show.

“One of my dreams is to play at Robert Gumede’s events,” he said with a smile. He said given this opportunity, he would grab it with both hands, because it’s the biggest stage in the country to play on, with the high number of dignitaries attending such events.
