Artists set the stage in KaBokweni
The recent Why Not Mpumalanga Artists? event's aim was for local artists to showcase their talent and inspire one another.
Local musicians came together during the Why Not Mpumalanga Artists? event at Cargo Lounge and Siya Bar on June 15 and 16 to showcase their talent.
During the event, Njabulo Hlatshwayo, aka Jay Spitter, also officially launched his single.

According to Surprise Mashego, known as Sweet Papa, the event aimed to show people that local artists can host a huge event without depending on other stakeholders if they work together.
“Every artist around the province was allowed to come and showcase their talent, free of charge. We wanted to create a space in which artists and creatives can reach out to one another for collaborations,” he said.

The event included artists such as Passion Master, Phumla Music, DJ Bhereza, Nick SA and DJ Strist.
