KaBokweni artist want to be an amapiano hotshot

Casey Ndimande, also known as Casey the Hottest MC, is a rapper and amapiano musician aiming to be an international superstar.

“My ultimate goal is to be famous and travel the world to perform my music. I make good music and I believe my time will come for me to perform on national stages and eventually international,” Ndimande said.

The 21-year-old has an amapiano EP with four songs out called Versatile Pieces of Me. “The EP features some of my best work so far such ‘Hlala ethembeni’ and ‘Siza’. These are beautiful tracks that give me hope that one day I will be who I want to be.”

Ndimande started his music career in 2017 when he did hip-hop music. He then shifted to amapiano in 2021.

“I wanted to be relevant because my peers love amapiano. It is a playful sound and I believe it will put me on the map as a talented musician in KaBokweni and surrounds,” he said.

The enthusiastic young performer also does MCing at local events and clubs.

“I love being on the stage and make people dance. This is my calling, and I appreciate the support my community has showed me by listening to my music and enjoying my energy when I am MCing. They don’t call me Casey the Hottest MC for nothing.”

Ndimande said he is currently cooking his album which will be released in 2024. He said it will be an amazing project.

“I am also looking forward to collaborate with other local artists, especially the ones I grew up with in Ngodini. But for now, I will keep performing at my best level at every MCing gig I get.”
