Popular Selati 2-in-1 Marathon to hit Nkomazi

Those who entered the Selati 2-in-1 Marathon can collect their number today (May 12) and on Saturday morning before the race.

Entries for this year’s edition of the Selati 2-in-1 Marathon have closed. The competitors will take on either the 10km or 21.1km race, and there will also be a fun race.

This popular marathon will hit Nkomazi this Saturday May 13, starting and finishing at the Malelane Golf Club.
The younger or lesser fit athletes have a choice between the 2km or the 4.9km fun run, presented by and for the benefit of Malelane Primary School.

“The sponsors wish to make the 2023 Selati 2-in-1 Marathon an unforgettable experience. The prize money, which totals more than R15 000, is a clear indication of this. Each pre-entrant will also receive a Selati 2-in-1 T-shirt, a Selati string bag filled with RCL Foods products as well as the traditional bag of grapefruit. The participants can again look forward to a unique race medal, of which the first 10 are gold and the next 30 are silver for each of the distances. Single toll gate fees at the Nkomazi Toll Plaza will be reimbursed to all registered runners when they exchange their valid tollgate receipt on the race day or the day before,” said Valks.
