According to Mthombothi, the new EP consists of five tracks. “Our music is inspired by what is happening around our community, Tekwane South. We mix kwaito and amapiano beats that help our listeners to forget about their problems. We believe that music must decrease pain and anxiety. “Our music makes the mood alter, changes perceptive of negativity, and inspires change in our community.”

This group is ready to rise from the ground and is aiming for the best.
Double Barrel was second at the Mpumalanga Creative Workshop 2022 in the upcoming amapiano artist category.

“We will not stop until we get a Grammy or BET award. Our music is shaping the cultures in our community. We started making music in high school with our friends every day after school by watching YouTube, and also became interested in creating beats and writing songs,” said Mthombothi.
