Affectionately known as Umfana weliSwati, this artist said he wanted to remind young people about respect and its importance in society.
Well known for his song “Tihlobo Tami” and his collaboration with music legend Phuzekhemisi, and another talented artist, Mbuzeni Mkhize, has once again got his fans singing and dancing.

“This song talks about respect in marriage, funerals and society. Looking into relationships, I for one believe that your partner’s cell phone is private and it should be respected. Another thing that I have noticed that people forgot, is following our culture at funerals. Kids were not allowed to attend, although now they do. Young people have forgotten how to speak to adults. The way they dress is no longer the way it is used to be and is supposed to be. We need to remind them and promote the culture of respect,” he explained.

“I would like to join forces with others so that the message can reach everyone. I want this song to be played in local events and for people to invite me to perform it.”

Umfana weliSwati said he would like everyone transforming and going back to their roots. “This is for especially the young people, so they can grow up knowing who they are.”
He said his song is available on digital platforms.
