Mbombela GRIP’s office in need of baby products

GRIP's programme administrator, Lynn Cuthill, said the NPO needs donations for the abandoned babies that are brought to their care rooms.

To keep rendering its services, GRIP is in need of basic products for abandoned babies who are taken to their care rooms.

According to GRIP’s administrator, Lynn Cuthill, it has seen an increase in the number of abandoned babies. As an NPO that helps survivors of rape and domestic abuse by providing court training, counselling and HIV Aids testing, GRIP needs all the help it can get from local businesses, stakeholders and community members. It also provides shelter for women and children.

To keep providing these services, it depends on donations and also raises funds through initiatives. As the number of the babies increases, the need for food and clothes increases too. “We are in need of baby clothing, nappies, milk formula and other baby products. If the communities have any of those items to spare, or are able to assist in any way, please do not hesitate to come and donate to any GRIP office or care room.”
